Challenge

A realtor client needed to modernize a traditionally styled home in a high-end neighborhood to sell it quickly. The house, like others on the block, featured brick with cream and yellow hues and shutters, blending in rather than standing out. The challenge was how to make the house stand out and interest a potential buyer.

Solution

Modern Color Palette:

• Deep Gray: Painted the house a deep gray called Cheating Heart, a deep, dramatic charcoal with unwavering appeal, creating a dramatic pop against the traditional backdrop.

• White Accents: Used white to complement the gray, creating a clean and modern look.

Bold Front Door:

Spirit in the Sky: Which is perfectly calibrated between blue and green, bold and muted -  this mid-tone presents endless design possibilities. Using this color adds a striking pop of color and creates visual interest.  

Transformation Impact:

The combination of modern colors and bold accents transformed the house from traditional to modern, making it stand out in the neighborhood and attracting immediate attention. The house sold in under 15 days, achieving the client's goal.
