Challenge
Creating a cohesive color palette for this bedroom was a nuanced challenge. The client desired a warm, and relaxing atmosphere, needing balance with existing patterned curtains, bedding, and furniture. The complexity lay in selecting a color scheme that would complement these elements without overwhelming the space, harmonizing colors and patterns to achieve a serene and sophisticated retreat.
Solution
To create a warm and elegant bedroom, we embraced a transitional design style.
Walls: Caribbean Teal – a bold, moody blue-green that beautifully complemented existing fabrics and accessories, initially concerning to the client, but ultimately a unifier.
Lower Walls, Trim & Doors: Bone White – a gentle hue with beige undertones, providing a warm, subtle contrast and enhancing the vibrant teal.
Ceiling: Mascarpone – a creamy shade of white to enhance brightness and elegance.
The result was a relaxing and inviting bedroom that perfectly matched the client's vision, successfully unifying the existing elements through a thoughtful color combination.
